The Incident Management System (ICS) is an operational framework for emergency response. The system facilitates communication, response activities and cooperation within and between organizations; as well as allows for incidents to be managed in a cohesive manner.
The Incident Command System (ICS) is a standardized on-site management system designed to enable effective, efficient incident management by integrating a combination of facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures and communications operating within a common organizational structure.
The ICS is used to manage an incident or a non-emergency event and can be used equally well for both small and large situations.
Without an established ICS systems, companies may not be able to control or mitigate certain events that could affect their employees or ability to do business.
This Incident Commant System course is a practical approach to the internationally recognized Incident Command System (IMS). Simple and easy to learn, IMS can be used company-wide for bringing order to and controlling everything from minor incidents to full-blown emergencies, crises and disasters.

Incident Command System Course Objectives:
- A review of ICS principles and terminology
- Discussion on individual needs
- Table-top exercises aimed at establishing familiarity and comfort with the ICS concepts
This course is applicable to any worker who is involved in their companies’ emergency response program, in addition to any supervisors or managers who would be involved in mitigating their companies’ incident.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a 3 year certification in Incident Command System Training. Further sessions may be booked for continued and advanced training.
